Recent Thon Hotel Europa Review: "My husband and I found this hotel a great spot to stay in Oslo. It is good quality, the breakfast buffet is very very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just around the corner from the Radisson where the bus from the airport picks up and drops off from. It takes about 40 mins by bus to the airport. Originally we caught  the Express train from the airport that takes 20 mins, but then had to get from the other end of town to the hotel. The bus is definitely the best option if staying at this hotel (and cheaper too). The hotel is about a 5 min leisurely walk to Karl Johans Gate and maybe another 5 mins to Aker Brygge. So, great location. We walked a lot and you can see most sights by walking. I would also recommend getting the Oslo Pass - very good value for money."
